I knew from a very young age that music and writing would always play an important role in my life. In 2005, I realized I could make a living doing what I love and I haven’t looked back since.

Some of the highlights from my career include:

• Semifinalist in the 2004 International Viola Competition

• First place in the parenting category of the 2011 Pinnacle Book Awards

• Silver medal in the 2013 Mom's Choice Awards

• First place in the family matters category of the 2015 Purple Dragonfly Book Awards

• 2012 Woman of the Year by the American Biographical Institute for contributions to the field of Music Education 

• Silver medal in the 2019 Reader's Favorite Book Awards.

• Principal violist of Georgia Philharmonic
